Series Notes

-The Lindenwood women's hockey team continues its 2015-16 season this Friday and Sunday against non-conference WCHA opponent, the No. 1 ranked Wisconsin Badgers. Puck drop is scheduled for 2 p.m. on both days from Labahn Arena in Madison, Wis.

-The Lady Lions are coming off of a 0-2-0 weekend series vs. the Mercyhurst Lakers on November 13 and 14. Lindenwood dropped each game by one goal, falling 3-2 on Friday evening and 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.

-A season ago the two teams met for a two game series to open their respective seasons during the Texas Roadhouse Classic in Wentzville, Mo. In September of 2011, the Lady Lions traveled to Madison, Wis. to play their first two inaugural NCAA games against the Badgers.

-Wisconsin enters the weekend series with a record of 12-0-0 and 10-0-0 within the WCHA. The undefeated Badgers currently sit atop of the USCHO.com and USA Today polls as the No. 1 team in the nation. Through 12 games this season, Wisconsin has outscored its opponents 62-4. Before allowing two goals during the third period of their game on Nov. 14 at Minnesota-Duluth, the Badgers had not allowed a goal in an NCAA record 624:18.
