Women's Hockey Ends Regular Season At Home

Series Notes
- The Lindenwood women's hockey program ends its regular season at home this weekend. The Lady Lions will be hosting Mercyhurst in a two-game series that starts on Friday at 7 p.m. The final game of the series will have a 1 p.m. start time at the Lindenwood Ice Arena in Wentzville, Mo.

- Lindenwood is currently 9-18-2 on the year and 6-10-2 in conference play. The Lady Lions went 0-1-1 in a series with Syracuse last weekend.

- Lindenwood opens the series in fifth place in the CHA, one game behind Robert Morris. The Lady Lions will have to score three more points than the Colonials in order to jump them and host a first-round CHA Tournament series. The Lady Lions need just one point to ensure that RIT cannot move up the standings.

- Mercyhurst clinched the CHA regular season championship last weekend with a sweep over Penn State. The Lakers are currently 22-7-3 overall and 13-4-1 in league action.

- Earlier this season, Mercyhurst swept Lindenwood in Erie, Pa. Both games were close heading into the third period, but the Lakers outscored the Lady Lions 3-0 in each of the final periods. Alyssa West led Lindenwood with three points in the series, and Jordyn Constance had two of Lindenwood's four goals. Katie Nokelby, Brooke Peden, and Rachel Weich all had a positive plus/minus for those two games.

- Merychurst leads the all-time series by a 13-0-1 margin, including a 9-0-1 lead in CHA games. The Lakers have won all six games played in Wentzville, Mo.

Lindenwood Notes
- The series with Syracuse started on a bad note as the Lady Lions allowed four first-period goals. They battled back though and tied the Orange 4-4 in the first game.

- Game two was also decided in the final period as the two teams were tied 1-1 after two periods. Syracuse scored a pair of third-period goals for a 3-1 victory.

- Jordyn Constance had a team-high four points in the series, including assisting on three of the team's four goals in the game one comeback.

- Britannia Gillanders, Shara Jasper, and Katie Erickson also had multiple points in the series.

- Nicole Hensley reached a major milestone against the Orange when she recorded her 3,000th career save in the first game of the series. She is the 18th NCAA Division I goalie with over 3,000 career saves, and just the third CHA goalie to reach that mark.

- Jordyn Constance and Shara Jasper have combined for 52 points this season, the most by a Lindenwood duo. Jasper leads the team with 16 assists and 27 points, while Constance has a team-high 13 goals.

- Brittania Gillanders enters the Mercyhurst series with three straight games with a point. She has been one of the most clutch Lindenwood scorers this year with two game-winning goals and one game-tying goal.

- In just CHA games, Shara Jasper is currently second with 12 assists, one behind the current leader. She is also fourth in points and ninth in goals in CHA games.

- Jordyn Constance is fourth in points and goals in CHA games, and she is tenth in assists.

- Brittania Gillanders is sixth in league games in freshman scoring. She has recorded seven of her nine points in CHA contests.

- Lyndsay Kirkham is one appearance away from appearing in her 100th career game.

- Seniors Jordyn Constance, Katie Erickson, and Alyssa West will be honored prior to Saturday's game for playing their final regular season home game. Those three players, along with Caitlyn Post who is receiving a medical redshirt this year, are the only remaining members of Lindenwood's inaugural NCAA team.

- Jordyn Constance has played in 123 games over the last four seasons, and has 18 goals, 22 assists, and 40 points. She scored the first game-winning goal in program history. Constance is having her best season this year with 13 goals and 12 assists. She ranks fifth all-time in points, and sixth in goals and assists.

- Katie Erickson is Lindenwood's leader in games played, appearing in 126 of the team's 128 NCAA contests. She has recorded 15 goals, 25 assists, and 40 points. Eight of her 15 goals have come on the power play, and she is third at Lindenwood in power-play goals. Erickson is fifth at Lindenwood in assists and points, and eighth in goals.

- Alyssa West has appeared in 117 games, and has recorded 25 goals, 41 assists, and 66 points. She is the school's all-time leader in points, assists, and power-play goals, and is second in goals. As a freshman, she recorded personal-bests of eight goals and 16 assists. West was team captain in 2013-14 and an alternate captain in 2012-13.
