Lindenwood closed out an impressive regular season with a 30-7 victory over Truman State. Lindenwood's regular season saw them win the regular season MIAA championship and experience success at various tournaments in the year.
Starting off the dual, was
Blayne Shockley, who won a tightly contested match, winning a 5-4 decision.
Hunter Haralson picked up right where Shockley left off, getting an 8-0 major decision, giving the Lindenwood a nice lead.
Cullen Halpin picked up another victory for Lions, barely missing a major decision 8-2.
Derrick Weller scored the Lions a 3-0 victory in the 157-pound division.
Batchka Zulkhuu continued his strong wrestling of late, scoring Lindenwood a tech fall.
Jake Landals scored a victory for the Lions with a 7-4 decision. Jacob Borgmeyer closed out the match with a 6-2 victory.
This was Lindenwood's last dual of the season, as they get ready to participate in the NCAA Division II Super Regional in Mankato, Minn. on February 28th through March 1st. The wrestlers that do well in that event, will go on to the NCAA Division II National Championships; which will be hosted by Maryville University in St. Louis, Mo.
