The Lindenwood men's volleyball team opened its toughest weekend of the season with a 3-0 loss at No. 2 Lewis. The Flyers won by scores of 25-19, 25-14, and 25-19.
 
Lewis hit .413 for the match and made just five hitting errors. The Lions, meanwhile, had 18 hitting errors and hit under .200.
 
Colin Hackworth led Lindenwood with 11 kills and he had one solo block. 
Kyle Overby had eight kills, and 
Logan Jarus had seven kills and a .545 hitting percentage. 
Roman Seghezzi had team-highs with 28 assists and six digs.
 
Lindenwood is now 4-5 overall and 2-4 in MIVA play. The Lions will be on the road again on Saturday night at No. 1 Loyola-Chicago. That 7 p.m. match will be shown live on ESPN3.
