Lindenwood's women's basketball team lost a tough one on Wednesday night to the Lincoln Blue Tigers. Lindenwood fell 61-47, after playing to a near stalemate in the first half. Leading the Lady Lions is scoring was
Bri Wilber, scoring ten points on five-of-ten shooting.
Jenny Rocha had nine points and went four-of-four from the field.
Vanessa Zailo had a game-high 15 rebounds.
Morgan Johnson got back into the swing of things, scoring six points.

The Lady Lions led for most of the first half, by shooting 47.8 percent from the field. Holding Lincoln to 29.7 percent from the field, helped the Lady Lions as well. Both teams struggled with turnovers, Lindenwood had 17, while Lincoln had 9. The Blue Tigers took a late first half lead 27-25.

The Lady Lions couldn't keep up with the Blue Tigers. Lincoln took advantage of Lindenwood falling into the bonus early in the second half, going eight-for-eight from the line. Lindenwood shot only 27 percent from the field.
Kylie Ferguson scored five in the second half, including a made three-pointer.

The loss moves the Lady Lions record to 9-11, and 2-11 in conference. Coming up next for the Lady Lions is visit St. Joseph, Mo. for a conference game against Missouri Western State University.
