After a tight loss last night to Penn State, the Lady Lions bounced back, defeating the visiting Penn State Nittany Lions 4-2. Lindenwood jumped on Penn State early, but Penn State came back to even the score early in the third, but Lindenwood regained the lead and never looked back, scoring two third period goals.

Jordyn Constance continues to show off her skill of finding the back of the net early in games, scoring just 35 seconds into the first period.
Katie Erickson dished the assist on the goal.
Lyndsay Kirkham scored Lindenwood's second goal on a pass from
Emily Gunderson to put the Lady Lions up 2-0 early in the first period. The second period remained silent, until Penn State capitalized on a late opportunity to give the Nittany Lions their first goal of the game.

Penn State carried some of that late second-period momentum into the third period, scoring just 28 second in to tie the game at two. Five minutes later Brittania Gillanders scored a goal with the help of Constance and Erickson to put the Lady Lions up 3-2.
Shara Jasper chipped in an empty net goal in the final minute to seal a Lady Lions home victory.

The win moves the Lindenwood's record to 9-17-1, and 6-9-1 in CHA play. Next for Lindenwood is a trip to Syracuse, N.Y. to play Syracuse to play a pair of games February 13th and 14th.
