The No. 3 women's lacrosse team defeated Millersville on Sunday afternoon in Millersville, Pa. by a 15-7 score.

Lindenwood had a narrow 4-3 lead until it scored four straight times in the final three minutes of the first half. Lindenwood added the first three goals of the second half to go up 11-3, and Millersville never got closer than seven the rest of the way.

Melissa Menchella led the offense with four goals and three assists, and Casie Stucklen had four assists.
Jordyn Constance and
Sophie Buelow each had three points, and
Lindsey Palmer,
Amanda Schimpke and
Kara Wendell had two points each.

Rachel Ortell earned the win in goal with eight saves. Constance and
Savannah Phillips each had three draw controls, and
Molly Beckham had team-highs with six groundballs and four caused turnovers.

The Lady Lions improve to 5-0 on the season. Lindenwood returns home next Friday for a contest against Florida Southern.
