Lindenwood's men's and women's tennis teams hosted Grand Valley State for a competition that saw both of Lindenwood's team lose. The men lost a close one 5-4, while the women lost  8-1.
 
For the men, the individual winners were Filip Bogic, Yoshi Ysa, and Naoufal El Idrissi. Bogic won 6-4, 6-2. Ysa squeeked out a 6-3, 7-6 win, while El Idrissi won after losing the first set 3-6, 6-4, 6-1. El Idrissi teamed up with Slobodan Bavrlic for a doubles win 9-8.
 
Alexandra Medvedeva was the only Lady Lion to score a victory for Lindenwood. Medvedeva would bounce back after falling in the first set 3-6.
 
Lindenwood's tennis teams now get ready to host Nebraska-Kearney on March 20th for an MIAA competition.
