The Lindenwood baseball team could not contain the Central Oklahoma offense and fell 16-3 on Friday afternoon.
The Lions fell behind in the first inning surrendering three runs.Â
Mike Ehrhard started the Lions offense in the second with a solo blast to center and
Mike Wilson drove in
Drew Quinones to cut the deficit to 3-2. Central Oklahoma poured runs on throughout the game with 13 more runs as Lindenwood only scored one more on a
Michael Bibbs homerun in the seventh.
With the 16-3 loss the Lions fall to 8-14 on the year and 2-7 in the MIAA. The Lions will play a double header in Edmond, Okla. on Saturday against Central Oklahoma with game one slated to start at 1 p.m.
