Tennis Teams Can’t Keep Up With Privateers in New Orleans

Lindenwood's tennis teams have been playing at a high frequency over spring break and New Orleans University took advantage. Lindenwood's men's and women's tennis teams failed to score the points against the Privateers on their trip to New Orleans, La.

Filip Bogic and Yoshikazu Ysa were very close to pulling out a set victory, but Bogic lost 6-4 and Ysa lost 7-6 in the second set. Slobodan Bavrlic and Anvar Akhmetov kept things close in the doubles match, but ultimately fell 8-5.

The women were playing their fourth dual in five days coming into the day. The Lady Lions failed to win a match, but had players put up valiant efforts. Mariona Pinol was close to winning her second set, but eventually lost 6-3. Diana Castro lost 6-2 in her final set.

Lindenwood will get a day off before they take on the University of Arkansas Fort Smith in Fort Smith, Ark. on April 3rd.
