Six Central Missouri players scored en route to a 7-0 defeat of the Lindenwood women's soccer team in Warrensburg, Mo. on Friday.

Two goals in 49 seconds fueled the Jennies offensive outburst early in the first half. Jada Scott found the back of the net for her goal of the season at 9:18 into the opening half, then Hannah Pyle crossed it over Lindenwood's goalkeeper Jordan Gnolfo to find the foot of Julie Ireland for her fifth of the season. Successful corner kicks were the name of the game for the next pair of scores for the Jennies as Taylor Thompson and Courtney Killian both recorded their first goal of the season in the 21st and 39th minute, respectively.

The second-ranked team in NCAA Division II kept up the attack in the second half as Killian scored her second of the night on a through ball which saw Killian sneak one just past Gnolfo. Padding the score with just less than eight minutes left was Mikala Modiri and Claire Richards to bring the score to 7-0, which would hold for the final minute.

Jordon Gnolfo started her second game in net for the Lady Lions and made seven saves of the 18 total shots for the Jennies. Lindenwood's Danielle Torry had two shots. Lindenwood had its chances in the second half to score with forcing four corner kicks, but failed to execute on each one.

Under new MIAA rules, this match between the conference opponents does not count toward the conference record. Therefore, the Lady Lions fall to 1-2-2 on the season after five non-conference matches. Lindenwood will head Missouri Western State on Sunday in a non-MIAA showdown. The match is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. in St. Joseph, Mo.
