The Lindenwood wrestling team lost a tightly-contested dual against Central Oklahoma on Tuesday night.
The Lions trailed the Bronchos 13-3 with their only win coming from the hands of
Hunter Haralson wrestling at 133 pounds until three wrestlers posted decision victories to cut the lead to one.
Terrel Wilbourn earned his 12th victory of the season while
Kyle Jolas collected his 18th.
Batchka Zulkhuu followed suit with his 17th win. Those three wrestlers only allowed one point each in their matches.
The Bronchos then registered a pin which marked as their last victory of the dual, but it was all they needed. The Lions managed to post wins from
Dillon Archer at 197 and Jacob Borgmeyer at 285, but the Lions fell one point short of tying the Bronchos.
The Lions fall to 4-2 as they travel to Wichita, Kan. for their second MIAA matchup against Newman. First match is scheduled at 7 pm.
