The Lindenwood men's volleyball team picked up its first win of 2016 on Saturday afternoon at Hyland Arena with a 3-0 win over Carthage. The Lions won by scores of 25-21, 25-23, and 25-23.
The Lions hit a season-high .302 for the match, while holding Carthage to a .239 mark. The Lions had 17 more kills in the match, and also led in service aces and digs.
Jake Duckworth had a big match with 17 kills, 21.5 points, six digs, three service aces, and two blocks.
Ryan Moore was also in double-figure kills with 10 and had two service aces and two blocks.
Adam Brewster led the team with 32 assists and
Ryan Vorderer had a team-high nine digs.
Lindenwood is now 1-3 on the young season. The Lions host Missouri Baptist on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
