The Lindenwood women's volleyball defeated Missouri-St. Louis by a final of 3-0 in St. Louis, Mo. on Tuesday night.
 
The Lady Lions opened up the night 25-21 with the help of three kills and three blocks by Alex Bogusz.  Alex Dahlstrom added four kills with one blocks and Allyson Clancy dished out 11 assists.  Lindenwood picked up a win in set two by a score of 25-22.  Sarah Makowski posted four kills and two blocks to help aid the Lady Lions to victory along with three kills from Bogusz.
 
Lindenwood closed out the night with a 25-19 win to sweep the Tritons.  The Lady Lions had the best set of the night by hitting .206 as Makowski tallied three kills and a .600 hitting percentage.  Shannon Doyle, Bogusz, and Dahlstrom each compiled two kills while Dahlstrom and Bogusz added a block to their stat sheet.
 
The Lady Lions beat Missouri-St. Louis for the first time since 2012 when Lindenwood edged the Tritons 3-0 in Hyland Arena.  Makowski had a strong night with nine kills and four blocks while Bogusz posted eight kills with five blocks.  Clancy handed out 30 assists and put up nine digs as Megan Hellwege tallied 18 digs.
 
Lindenwood improves to 11-14 on the season.  The Lady Lions will begin the final home stand with a Friday night match against Washburn at 7 p.m. in Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.
