Women's Hockey Travels to Minnesota State for Non-Conference Series

Series Notes:
- The Lindenwood women's hockey team travels to Mankato, Minn. for a two-game non-conference series with the Minnesota State Mavericks on November 25-26, 2016. Puck drop is scheduled for 2:07 p.m. on both days from Verizon Wireless Center.

- Minnesota State holds the edge in the all-time series, 13-2-0, dating back to the start of the 2011 season. Lindenwood has won two of the last three meetings between the two sides, including splitting a two-game series at Verizon Wirless Center in January of 2016.

- Minnesota State enters the series with a record of 3-10-1 and a 1-10-1 mark from within the WCHA. Most recently the Mavericks split a home series with the Ohio State Buckeyes on November 18-19. Minnesota State dropped the opening game of the series by a score of 2-1, before defeating Ohio State by the same score in the series finale.

- Emily Antony leads Minnesota State in goals with three and points with six. Antony has tallied one game-winning goal this season, against RIT on September 30. Brianna Quade and Katie Bidulka have split time in goal for the Mavericks, with Quade making eight of the 14 starts in net. Quade has accumulated an .896 save percentage and a 3.19 goals against average to lead the team. Bidulka leads the team with two victories.

Lindenwood Notes:
- Following her first-career shutout against RIT on Nov. 18, Jolene deBruyn was recognized as the CHA goalie of the week. deBruyn turned in 47 saves over her two starts against RIT.

- After blanking RIT for the first 82:48 of the two-game series, deBruyn established a new Lindenwood program record with 114:06 consecutive minutes without allowing a goal. The streak stretched back to the second period against Penn State on Nov. 12.

- Cierra Paisley netted her first-career goal against RIT on Nov. 18. The goal would prove to be the game-winning score.

- Courtney Ganske registered the first goal of her collegiate career on Nov. 19 against RIT. Ganske tallied her first-career point the previous day, assisting on Carla Goodwin's empty net goal.

- Lindenwood outshot RIT in both games, the first two times the Lady Lions have outshot their opponents this season.

- Brittania Gillanders, Taylor Girard, and Emma Hare each recorded a team-leading six shots on goal during the series against RIT.

- Kirsten Martin won a team-high 18 faceoffs against RIT. Martin leads Lindenwood with 60 victories in the faceoff circle this season.
