Series Notes:
- The Lindenwood women's hockey team hosts the Mercyhurst Lakers for a two-game CHA series on Dec. 2-3 at Lindenwood Ice Arena in Wentzville, Mo. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Friday evening, before the teams conclude the two-game series on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
- Mercyhurst owns a 17-2-1 advantage in the all-time series dating back to the start of the 2011 season. The Lakers won the season series from the Lady Lions a season ago, 3-1-0. Lindenwood recorded a 1-0 victory over Mercyhurst in the final matchup of the season on Jan. 23, 2016.
Nicole Hensley turned in a 35-save shutout performance for the Lady Lions.
- The defending CHA champions, Mercryhurst arrives in Wentzville with a 5-10-1 record and a 2-4-0 mark in conference play. Most recently the Lakers dropped both games of a two-game non-conference series at home to the Colgate Raiders.
- Mercyhurst is led offensively by Brooke Hartwick, who has posted a team-leading 14 points for the Lakers. Hartwick has scored six goals and dished out eight assists in 16 games to start the season. Jessica Convery has appeared in 11 games between the pipes for Mercyhurst, compiling a .910 save percentage and a 1.96 goals against average. Convery leads the team with three wins in goal.Â

- Goaltender
Jolene deBruyn was named CHA Goalie of the Week for the second-consecutive week, and third time in her Lindenwood career on Monday.
-In the two games at Minnesota State, deBruyn totaled 58 saves, including a 32-save performance in the series finale. The game ended in a 1-1 tie.
- Over her last five games, deBruyn has guided the Lady Lions to a 2-1-2 record while making 133 saves. deBruyn has registered a .964 save percentage and a 0.97 goals against average over that time.

Britannia Gillanders and
Cierra Paisley each recorded three points in the series at Minnesota State.
Carla Goodwin,
Tirra Lemoine, and
Kirsten Martin each notched two points during the non-conference series with Minnesota State.

Lillian Marchant, and
Shannon Morris-Reade all scored their first goals of the season in the series at Minnesota State. Marchant had the game-winning score on Nov. 26 against the Mavericks. Hare and Morris-Reade scored their goals while on the power play.
- The Lady Lion power-play unit tallied goals in back-to-back games at Minnesota State, the first time the team has done so since Jan.29-30, 2016 against Robert Morris, a stretch of 21 games.
- Lindenwood has killed off 18 of its last 19 penalties against, raising its success rate to 86.8 percent.
- Lindenwood scored five goals on Nov. 25, the most the team has scored since Oct. 30, 2015 versus Penn State.
