The Lady Lions fell 25-14 in the opening set after the Hornets posted a .300 hitting percentage and tallied eight blocks. Doyle compiled four kills with one block while
Alex Dahlstrom put up three kills. Lindenwood fought back in the second set but fell 25-19 with Doyle again leading the team with five kills and one block.Â
Bailey Dvorak tallied four kills on a .375 hitting percentage and
Alex Bogusz posted three kills on a .500 hitting percentage.

Emporia State closed out the night with a 25-16 win in set three. The Lady Lions hit .186 in the set with the help of four kills by Rosenau and Doyle. Dvorak added three kills and an assist to her night. Doyle ended the night with 13 kills and two blocks while Rosenau tallied seven kills and four digs.

Lindenwood falls to 11-16 on the season and 5-10 in the MIAA. The Lady Lions host No. 16 Central Missouri on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Hyland Arena.
