The Lindenwood men's volleyball team fell to MIVA leader Ball State on Friday night in Muncie, Ind. The Lions lost to the No. 9 Cardinals by scores of 25-14, 25-21, and 25-15.

Lindenwood struggled offensively on the night, having 34 hitting errors compared to just 24 kills. Ball State hit just .200, but it had 22 fewer hitting errors. Defensively, the Cardinals had seven more kills and six more digs than the Lions.

Linenwood was led by
Connor Hipelius who had nine kills and a .583 hitting percentage. He also had a team-high 10.5 points after also having an ace and a block assist.
Adam Brewster had 18 assists and
Ryan Vorderer collected seven digs.
Josh Jones and
Michael Chard both had two block assists.

The Lions fall to 2-10 overall and 0-6 in MIVA play. Lindenwood continues its road trip on Saturday night with a contest at IPFW.
