The Lindenwood baseball team defeated Lincoln 21-0 on Tuesday night at the Lou Brock Sports Complex in St. Charles, Mo.

Brendan Kleekamp earned his third victory over the Blue Tigers this season alone in his four-inning seven-strikeout performance. Kleekamp was named MIAA Co-Pitcher of the Week early Tuesday afternoon, and continued his strong play with a two-hit combined shutout.Â
Lucas Tibbs tossed the remaining three innings and did not allow a hit.

Kyle Teter kicked off the scoring with a leadoff triple in the top of the second, and scored on a
Paul Sherwood single. Teter batted again in the inning and drove in
Drew Quinones as part of a seven-run inning for the Lions. Lindenwood added another run in the top of the third with an RBI single by
Nathan Prindle.Â
Mike Ehrhard and Quinones each registered a hit in the fourth inning to help the Lions score three more runs, taking an 11-0 lead.

Lindenwood scored 10 more runs on nine hits in the final three innings. The Lions compiled 19 hits, stranded eight runners, and held the Blue Tigers to just two hits in the 21-0 victory.

Lindenwood improves to 20-24 on the season and 14-19 in the MIAA. The Lions will host Northeastern State for a three-game series at the Lou Brock Sports Complex in St. Charles, Mo. The series will begin Thursday night at 6 p.m.
