The Lindenwood women's volleyball team fell to No. 7 Central Oklahoma 3-1 on Saturday afternoon in St. Charles, Mo.

Lindenwood played well in set one and fought throughout, but fell 25-20. The Lady Lions powered back in set two with a 25-20 win, but dropped the remaining two sets 25-22 and 25-16 respectively.Â

Bailey Dvorak and
Alex Bogusz each tallied three kills in the first set and
Jessica Krygsheld put up six digs and two kills. Neither team hit the ball well as both squads hit under .62 for the set one loss.Â
Alex Dahlstrom and Krygsheld posted five kills apiece while Krygsheld added five digs.Â
Allyson Clancy dished out 14 dimes and Dvorak added four kills to help the Lady Lions to a five-point win in set two. Lindenwood hit .196 as opposed the.67 hitting percentage by the Bronchos.

The Lady Lions improved their hitting percentage to .200 in set three, but fell by just three points. Krygsheld posted four kills with the help of nine assists by Clancy. Central Oklahoma powered through set for with a nine-point win to close out the match. Lindenwood registered just 12 kills and did not have a block in the final frame.

Lindenwood falls to 5-7 on the season and 1-1 in conference play. The Lady Lions will travel to Kearney, Neb. on Friday to take on Nebraska-Kearney at 7 p.m.
