The Lindenwood women's volleyball team fell 3-1 to No. 3 Nebraska-Kearney in Kearny, Neb. on Friday night.
 
The Lady Lions opened the night with an impressive 25-16 win over the Lopers, but fell 25-12, 25-15, and 25-11.  Nebraska-Kearney improves to 18-0 on the season, but Lindenwood took one set from the Lopers which has only happened two other times this year to Nebraska-Kearney.

Jessica Krygsheld and Alex Dahlstrom each posted four kills in the opening set to help Lindenwood to a 25-16 victory.  Allyson Clancy handed out 15 assists and had a hand in two blocks.  The Lady Lions hit .289 in set one and held the Lopers to just a .070 hitting percentage.
 
Bailey Dvorak led the team in kills for sets two and three, but tied for the lead in set four with just two kills.  The Lady Lions struggled to produce offense in the final three sets and tallied just 38 points.  Dvorak ended the night with 13 kills along with a .242 hitting percentage.  Dahlstrom registered nine kills, one block, and five digs.  Clancy dished out 31 assists and added ten digs.
 
Lindenwood falls to 5-8 on the year and 1-2 in the MIAA.  The Lady Lions will travel to Hays, Kan. on Saturday to take on Fort Hays State for a 6:30 p.m. match.
