Series Notes:
- The Lindenwood women's hockey team hosts CHA foe Syracuse for a two-game series at Lindenwood Ice Arena on January 20-21. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Friday evening, followed by a 1:00 p.m. start time on Saturday afternoon. Lindenwood will host its Fifth Annual Pink the Rink game on Friday night.
- Earlier this season Lindenwood traveled to Syracuse, N.Y. for a two-game set with the Orange. Syracuse won each game by identical scores of 4-0. The Orange own the advantage in the all-time series over the Lady Lions, 17-3-2, dating back to the start of the 2012 season.
- Syracuse enters the weekend as the second-ranked team in the CHA, trailing Robert Morris by three points. In the CHA preseason coaches poll, the Orange received five of the six first-place votes and were picked to finish first in the conference.
- The Orange have skated to a 3-7-3 record away from Syracuse, N.Y. Last season Syrcause was 9-8-1 in road games.
- Syracuse is led offensively by forward Stephanie Grossi, who has accumulated a team-leading 17 points. Teammate Heather Schwarz leads the Orange with nine goals. Abbey Miller has started 19 games in net for Syracuse with a record of 6-8-5. Miller has posted three shutouts and .912 save percentage.

- After earning the victory in goal over No. 7 Robert Morris on Jan. 13,
Jolene deBruyn was selected as the CHA Goalie of the Week for the third time this season. deBruyn has now received the award four times in her career, after winning once as a freshman.
- Following her 36-save performance against the Colonials, deBruyn raised her save percentage to a conference-leading mark of .933 in CHA games this season.

Tirra Lemoine netted the first game-winning goal of her career at Robert Morris on Jan. 13. The third-period score was Lemoine's first goal of the year.

Courtney Ganske recorded the first multi-goal game of her career on Jan. 14 at Robert Morris. Ganske is now tied for the team lead with four goals this season, and leads all Lady Lion defenders with five points.

Cierra Paisley dished out one assist, bringing her team-leading total to eight as she became the first Lady Lion to reach double-digit points this season.
- Stretching over its last 11 games the Lindenwood penalty-kill is operating a 91.3 percent success rate. The Lady Lions have killed off 42 of the 46 chances, and are 5-5-1 during those 11 contests. The Lindenwood power-play unit has scored six times over that same stretch, for a mark of 15.1 percent.
- Lindenwood has scored the first goal in nine of its 21 games this season. When scoring first the Lady Lions are 5-2-2.
- After upset victories over No. 10 North Dakota and No. 7 Robert Morris, Lindenwood has beaten two ranked opponents in the same season in its program history.
