The Lindenwood wrestling team collected its fourth victory in a row when the Lions took down Central Missouri on the road by a final score of 41-11 on Wednesday night. The Lions registered three total pins during the dual.
 
As the dual went on, the Lions received 12 free points due to lineup forfeits at 125 and 184 pounds. As a result, Carlos Jacquez was awarded his 16th win of the season while David Hamil got his 13th. Hunter Haralson started the night off giving the Lions four points by winning his team-high fourth major decision of the year at 133 pounds.
 
After the Mules displayed a technical fall at 141 pounds, Ronnie Gentile responded for the Lions by pinning his second consecutive opponent just 1:29 into the match. Gentile's victory at 149 pounds gave the Lions another six points. However, the Mule retaliated with a pin of their own at 157 pounds to keep them in the dual.
 
Kyle Jolas added three points when he defeated his opponent by an 11-7 decision, giving him his 14th victory of the season at 165 pounds. Batchka Zulkhuu followed up with a pin at 174 pounds in which five of his 11 wins this year have resulted by fall.
 
Dillon Archer has been scorching hot as of late for the Lions as he pinned his fourth straight opponent to give his team six points. The 197-pounder has won nine out of his last ten matches which includes six pins.
 
Jake Borgmeyer capped the night off with his first major decision of the year at 285 pounds that solidified the win for the Lions.
 
After the victory, the Lions improve to 6-2 on the year including a 2-1 record in the MIAA. They will return to action back at Warrensburg when the Mules host the Roger Denker Open on Sunday starting at 10 am.
