The Lindenwood men's and women's tennis teams traveled to Bolivar, Mo. this weekend to compete at the ITA Central Regional.

Andrei Masin had the best finish for the Lions, advancing to the semifinals of the singles draw on the men's side. Masin cruised through his first four matches, defeating each opponent in straight sets.

Naoufal El Idrissi advanced to the third round in the men's singles bracket. Hector Horcajada and Theo Butaeye also competed in the tournament for the Lions.

Anna Barbasheva, Alexis McCarthy, and Tereza Melicharkova competed on the women's side.

The Lindenwood men's tennis team will host Maryville on Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m., while the women's team will return to action on October 6-7 at the Missouri-St. Louis Fall Tournament.
