The Lindenwood women's soccer team tied Central Oklahoma 2-2 on Sunday afternoon at Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo.

The Bronchos pressed the Lions in the early portion, but in the 14th minute
Alaina White sent in a free kick from 40 yards out and allowed
Katie Juhlin to head the ball in the net for a 1-0 lead. Central Oklahoma responded with a goal in the 20th minute to tie the game at 1-1. With less than seven minutes to go in the half,
Mary McGilvray made a diving stop to save the potential go-ahead goal and keep the game even.

Lindenwood surrendered another goal in the 64th minute to fall behind 2-1 with time winding down. The Lions had a corner kick in the 78th minute and
Jordan Wipke took advantage by sending the ball through the box to
Becky Roberts for the game-tying goal. Neither team could find a goal for the rest of the game as the Sunday bout ended in a 2-2 tie.

Lindenwood moves to 4-7-1 on the year and 1-3-1 in the MIAA while the Bronchos hold a 5-5-2 record on the season with a 2-1-2 mark in conference play. The Lions return to action on Friday for a 7 p.m. game against Washburn at Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo.
