The Lindenwood wrestling team produced a successful showing at the highly-competitive Lindenwood Open on Saturday in St. Charles, Mo.
The Lions placed four wrestlers including the highest finish by
Nate Trepanier in the 157-pound weight class in the Black Division.
Tanner Hitchcock lost his first match of the day, but fought back to earn a consolation championship in the Black Division at 125 pounds.
Kyle Jolas and
Danny Swan each placed sixth in their respective weight classes while
Hunter Haralson took fifth in the 133-pound weight class in the Gold Division. The Lindenwood Open including many All-Americans at all different levels of college wrestling.
Lindenwood will return to the mat on Dec. 2 in Kenosha, Wis. as the Lions will compete in the Wisconsin Open.
