The No. 15 Lindenwood wrestling team lost 28-12 to No. 11 University of Indianapolis in a dual on Saturday night in Indianapolis, Ind.
The Lions jumped out to a quick 9-0 lead after
Carlos Jacquez defeated his opponent by a decision and
Hunter Haralson tallied a pin at 1:54. The Greyhounds scored point in the next three matches to take the lead, but an 11-6 decision win by
Austin Stofer tied the dual at 12-12. Lindenwood lost the remaining matches as the Lions faced four ranked wrestlers on the night.
The Lions are now 0-1 after their first dual of the season and will head back to Indianapolis, Ind. on Saturday to compete in the Midwest Classic.
