OVERVIEW
Lindenwood women's basketball defeated Emporia State 93-72 for the Lions' first win over the Hornets in program history. Additionally, 93 points is the second-highest Lindenwood point total ever in an MIAA game. With the win, the Lions move to 8-3 overall and 1-3 in MIAA games.
NOTABLE
- The Lions scored 93 points, the second-highest scoring total in a conference game in program history. The most points ever scored by the Lions against an MIAAÂ opponent was against Southwest Baptist on Feb. 11, 2014 when the Lions won 94-82.Â
- The 21-point margin of victory is the third-largest for the Lions against an MIAA foe. Lindenwood defeated Nebraska-Kearney 85-59 in last season's MIAAÂ tournament and beat Lincoln 89-58 on Dec. 5, 2015.Â
- In the ESU game, the Lions were led by
Lindsay Medlen, who led all scorers with 21 points, a season-best for her. She was 12-14 from the free throw line, career bests for makes and attempts.

Kallie Bildner collected her seventh double-double of the season with 19 points and 15 rebounds against the Hornets.Six of her rebounds were off the offensive glass.Â

Gabby Walker was just shy of a double-double of her own with 16 points and nine rebounds. She was 6-11 from the field and corralled four offensive rebounds.

Jerricah Butler scored 15 points on 3-7 shooting and a perfect 7-7 from the line.

Sara Ross was 5-6 from the field and 4-4 from the line to score 14 points.Â
- The Lions were 35-49 from the free throw line. Those numbers are tied for the second most makes in a single game and second alone for attempts in a game.Â
