Men's Basketball In Giving Spirit During Tuesday's 112-56 Win

The Lindenwood men's basketball team was in the Christmas spirit on Tuesday night in Hyland Arena as it handed out 25 assists throughout the team's 112-56 victory over Robert Morris-Springfield. The 112 points tied for the sixth-most in program history.
 
Lindenwood's team play helped the Lions shoot 60 percent from the field, including 44 percent from three-point range. The Lions earned assists on 55.6 percent of their baskets, and every player who saw action except two had at least one assist. The 25 assists in a game tied for the fourth-most in program history, and it was the highest total since the 2011-12 season.
 
Defensively, the Lions forced 18 turnovers on the night and had 12 steals. The Eagles shot 31.7 percent from the field, and made just eight-of-31 three-pointers. Lindenwood also won the rebounding battle 53-25.
 
All 12 players who dressed for the game had at least three points and one rebound, and five different players had double-figure points. Lindenwood's bench played over half the minutes in the game, and those players combined for 62 points.
 
TJ Crockett led Lindenwood with a career-high 27 points, which ties for the most by a Lindenwood player this season. He was nine-of-11 from the field, including four-of-six from behind the arc, and he hit five-of-six free throws. Crockett also led the team with three steals.
 
Dominique Dobbs finished with 14 points, Max Meylor and Jackson Price had 13 apiece, and Chandler Diekvoss collected 12 points. Drew Moore led the team with seven rebounds, and Price had a team-high five assists. Other notable individual performances included Landon Mills scoring seven points, and Bryan Waithe having four points and six rebounds in 10 minutes of action.
 
Lindenwood heads into its Christmas break with a 9-3 overall record. The Lions will be in action again on New Year's Eve with a 3 p.m. game at Missouri-St. Louis.
