The Lindenwood gymnastics team continues to improve each week. The Lady Lions collected a team score of 194.125 on Sunday in Denton, Texas, a tenth of a point better than last week's season-best mark. The team also won four individual titles and defeated Texas Woman's in a MIC dual.

Lindenwood won the vault and beam in the dual meet, while the Pioneers won the bars and floor. The big difference came on the beam where the Lady Lions had a 48.300, over 1.100 better than the Pioneers. Texas Woman's finished with a team score of 192.900, which gave the Lady Lions a 1.225 victory.

Kierstin Sokolowoski had a big afternoon for the Lady Lions, winning the vault and beam competitions. She had a 9.800 on the vault, which tied for first, and a 9.850 on the beam, which won by 0.050. She also finished fourth on the bars with a 9.775.

Ryan Henry competed in the all-around for the first time in her career, and won that competition with a 38.750. She scored a 9.650 on the vault, 9.675 on the bars, 9.775 on the beam, and 9.650 on the floor.

The other individual winner for the Lady Lions was
Katey Oswalt who captured the floor title. She had a mark of 9.800, which tied for the best overall score in the event.

Other top scores on the day included
Aubree Horn having a team-best 9.800 on the bars, and
Breanna Franklin earning a 9.800 on the beam.

Lindenwood has now won three straight competitions, and is 5-4 on the season. The Lady Lions will be in action next Friday at Missouri, in an event that also includes Iowa State and George Washington.
