The Lindenwood men's and women's tennis teams fell to Northwest Missouri on the road by final scores of 7-2 and 8-1 respectively on Friday.
After winning his 50th career singles match against Quincy,
Filip Bogic headlined the men's dual as he won both of his matches. Paired up with
Naoufal El Idrissi, the tandem defeated the No. 1 doubles team by an 8-5 score. Bogic proceeded to collect a comfortable 7-5, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles. El Idrissi went to a third-set tiebreaker, but came up just short 10-5.
On the women's side,
Rebeca Aguilar picked up the lone win in singles, winning 4-6, 6-3, 10-7 at No. 5.
Clara Piccamiglio played the next closest match when she took her opponent to three sets at No. 3.
After the losses, the men fall to 7-10 on the year while the women become 7-12. The women will play again Saturday against Missouri Western.
