The Lindenwood baseball team was held scoreless on Sunday in a 10-0 loss to Northwest Missouri in Maryville, Mo. to close out a three-game series.

Lindenwood was held to just two hits in the game while three batters drew a walk and the Lions left four runners stranded in the game. The Bearcats scored 10 runs on eight hits and drew six walks while the Lions committed two errors.Â
Drew Quinones and
Ryan Sosnowski were the only two batters with a hit in the game while
Bobby Lang was stranded on the base paths two times.

Northwest Missouri scored three runs in the bottom of the first and another run in the second to take a quick 4-0 lead. The Bearcats added a run in the fifth inning and closed out the game with five runs in the seventh inning to force a shortened seven-inning game.

Lindenwood is now 9-7 on the year and an even 3-3 in MIAA play while the Bearcats move to 10-6 on the season and 2-4 in league play. The Lions will travel to Springfield, Ill. on Tuesday to take on Illinois-Springfield at 3 p.m.Â
