The Prairie Stars added a pair of runs in the top of the fifth to cut into the Lindenwood lead, but Mark Melville gave the Lions a buffer with an RBI single down the right field line.  Illinois-Springfield scored another run in the top of the eight, but Law closed the door in the ninth to solidify an 8-7 victory on Tuesday.
