The Lindenwood women's soccer team fell on the road to No. 4 Central Missouri on Friday night in Warrensburg, Mo. The game, which was a non-conference affair, was decided by a 7-0 margin.

The two team played even for the first 15 minutes, but Central Missouri eventually took over. The Jennies scored their first goal in the 21st minute. Lindenwood goalie
Mary McGilvray kept the game close for a while, making nine saves in the first 27 minutes. Central Missouri eventually got two more past her in the half in the 28th and 36th minute.

Central Missouri continued to control play in the second half. It went up 4-0 in the 54th minute, and then scored three more times in the final 15 minutes of the game.

For the game, the Jennies outshot Lindenwood 27-11, including 19-2 on shots on goal. Central Missouri also had a 10-1 edge in corner kicks.

McGilvray finished the game with 12 saves.
Becky Roberts led the team with three shots, and
Alyssa Houck and
Kyleigh Kristensen each had one shot on goal.

Lindenwood falls to 3-2-0 on the season. The Lady Lions travel to Missouri Western on Sunday afternoon in a game that will also count as a non-conference contest.
