The Lindenwood women's volleyball team picked up wins over California-Pennsylvania and Roberts Wesleyan on Friday in Urbana, Ohio

The Lions had 63 kills in the 3-2 win over California-Pennsylvania with the help of 17 kills by
Bailey Dvorak. Lindenwood won the first two sets by identical scores of 25-23, but fell 26-24 and 25-14 to tie the match at 2-2. The Lions finished the match with at 15-12 set-five win to close out the opening match.Â
Emily Wylie tallied 13 kills while
Alex Bogusz registered 11 kills with seven blocks.

Lindenwood handled Roberts Wesleyan 25-9 in the first set of the match and won the next two by scores of 25-18 and 26-24 to sweep the two-match day. Dvorak and Wylie each compiled seven kills while Bogusz and
Haley Sigel each tallied six kills.

Lindenwood improves to 8-2 on the season and will complete the weekend with two games on Saturday. The Lions will play Gannon at 2 p.m. and close out the day with a 6 p.m. match against Urbana in Urbana, Ohio.
