Carlos Jacquez his first loss of the season.
Lindenwood had a handful of wrestlers compete in the Roger Denker Open in Warrensburg, Mo. on Sunday.
Derek Heil placed sixth in the 141-weight division after he lost to unattached-teammate
Blaine Martinez in sudden victory in the fifth-place match.
Isaac Jacquez took second after a loss to Zak Hensley from the University of Nebraska in the 133-pound championship.
Tanner Hitchcock placed third while
Tage McNutt took fourth on Sunday.
Lindenwood returns to action on Friday to take on No. 12 Nebraska-Kearney at 7 p.m. in Hyland Arena.
