Roller hockey swept all five games played at the Eastern Collegiate Roller Hockey Association Inter-Regional January 20-21 at the Hot Shots Sports Arena in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania.
The Lions started the weekend with a 10-1 victory over West Chester University (Pa.) Saturday morning. Cody Page earned Star #1 honors with three goals and an assist, Nick DellaMorte scored twice and added two assists to be named Star #2, and Austin Steger was named Star #3 with a goal and three assists. Lindenwood outshot the Golden Rams 34 to 15 and Jacob Robinson stopped 14 of 15 pucks in goal to earn the win for the Lions.
After a short break, Lindenwood battled the University of Massachusetts and came away with an 11-1 win. Adam Swims posted a hat trick with three goals and two assists to earn Star #1 honors. Jalen Krogman had a team high five assists and added a score to earn Star #2 honors. Daniel Rosse was named Star #3 with two goals and an assist. Robinson again stopped 14 of 15 shots as the Lions outshot the Minutemen 27 to 15.
In a rematch of the 2017 D1 National Championship game, Lindenwood edged Farmingdale State College 2-1 Saturday evening. After most of the first period went scoreless, the Lions finally broke through with a goal when Steve Farina set up Rosse at 9:58. The Rams answered early in the second and the contest remained tied 1-1 through the rest of the period. Farmingdale was called for a hooking penalty early in the third and Lindenwood took advantage. Adam Swims split the pipes on the ensuing power play with help from DellaMorte and Page with 9:03 remaining in regulation. The Lions clamped down on defense to make the one goal lead hold up. Robinson was named Star #1 with 21 saves on 22 shots.
Lindenwood continued to roll through the weekend with a 6-0 shutout over Neumann Sunday morning. Steger earned Star #1 honors with two goals in the game. DellaMorte was named Star #2 and Rosse was named Star #3 as each scored once and assisted on another goal. Robinson posted a perfect 11 saves on 11 shots as the Lions outshot the Knights 33 to 11.
Lindenwood completed a 5-0 weekend with a 7-2 win over Slippery Rock Sunday afternoon.  Seven different Lions scored in the game with Krogman earning Star #1 honors with a goal and two assists. Farina and DellaMorte each scored once and earned an assist to get Star #2 and Star #3 recognition. Robinson stopped 14 of 16 shots as Lindenwood outshot the Pride 30-16.
With the five victories, the Lions improved to 15-0 on the season and combined with two wins from the D3 Gold squad, have compiled 998 wins in program history. Lindenwood roller hockey is expected to reach the 1,000-win milestone this weekend during play in the Great Plains Collegiate Inline Hockey League January 26-27. The Lions face Bethel (Tenn.) Friday night at 8 p.m. at Midwest Sport Hockey in Ballwin, Missouri, then battle the University of Missouri at 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon, followed by a rematch against Bethel (Tenn.) at 5 p.m.  Both games on Sunday take place at Matteson Square Garden in St. Peters, Missouri.
