The No. 20 Lindenwood wrestling team lost to No. 12 Nebraska-Kearney on Friday night by a 29-6 margin in Hyland Arena.

Carlos Jacquez defeated No. 9 Josh Portillo in the 125-pound weight class to put the Lions in front. In the 133-pound bout, No. 8
Hunter Haralson won by decision over No. 11 Bryce Shoemaker to extend the Lindenwood lead.
The Lopers won back-to-back close matches and took off from there winning 29-6 over the Lions in Hyland Arena.
Nate Trepanier put up a fight against No. 2 Keith Surber in the 149-pound match which went down to the wire.
Lindenwood falls to 4-5 on the season and 0-3 in the MIAA. The Lions will return to action on Wednesday to take on Central Missouri at 7 p.m. in Hyland Arena.
