Jackson Price had one of the top shooting games in Lindenwood history on Thursday night in Tahlequah, Okla., and he led the Lions to a 64-56 win over Northeastern State.

Price scored a career-high 29 points in the contest. He missed just four shots in the game, as he was 10-of-14 from the field, including seven-of-nine from three-point range, and made both free throws he attempted. The seven three-pointers tied for the fourth-most in program history, and he is the seventh Lion to make seven or more three-pointers in a game.

Price hit four three-pointers in the second half to help Lindenwood pull away for the victory. The Lions led by two at 46-44 with 7:19 remaining. Price would score the next ten points for Lindenwood to put the team up by a commanding 56-47 advantage.

While Price was leading the offense,
Dominique Dobbs led the defensive effort. Dobbs had career-highs with five blocks and three steals, and also had five defensive rebounds. His five blocks tied for the fourth-most in program history. Four of those blocks came in the final 8:18 to help the Lions close out the win.

For the contest, Lindenwood shot 46.8 percent from the field, including over 40 percent from three-point range. The Lions held the RiverHawks to 37.1 percent shooting from the field and 26.9 percent from behind the arc. Lindenwood also shot 10 more free throws, and scored eight more points at the free-throw line.

Chandler Diekvoss had a double-double for the Lions with 11 points and 11 rebounds, and he and
Adam Pohlman each had a team-high four assists.
Brad Newman was also in double-figures in points with 11.

Lindenwood improves to 11-3 on the season and 3-2 in MIAA play. The Lions will be in action again on Saturday at Central Oklahoma.Â
