MATCH OVERVIEW
The Lindenwood women's soccer team was defeated 3-0 by the Fort Hays State Tigers on Sunday afternoon from Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo. The loss moves Lindenwood's record to 6-6-2 on the season, and 3-3-1 from within the MIAA.
Following a scoreless first half, Fort Hays State scored twice during a five-minute stretch to take a commanding two-goal lead. The Tigers netted their first score in the 68th minute, and added an insurance tally in the 73rd minute.
Fort Hays State added its final goal of the afternoon in the 87th minute.
Lindenwood was unable to cut into the visitors lead for the remainder of the match, which ended a three-goal loss.
