MATCH OVERVIEW
The Lindenwood women's soccer team was defeated by a final score of 1-0 at Emporia State on Friday afternoon in Emporia, Kan. The loss moves Lindenwood's record to 6-7-1 on the season, and 3-4-1 from within the MIAA.
After nearly 80 minutes of scoreless play to open the match, Emporia State broke through with the eventual game-winning score with just over 10 minutes remaining in regulation.
Despite its best efforts, Lindenwood was unable to muster an equalizing goal before the end of regulation, and fell by a final score of 1-0.

- Lauren Greenstein made the start in goal for the Lions, stopping seven of the eight shots she faced.
- Greenstein's seven-save performance represented her second-highest single-game total this season. Greenstein stopped 10 shots on Sep. 21 at Northwest Missouri.
- Bailey Bologna led the team with two shots, including one shot on goal.
- Alaina White registered the other shot on goal for the Lions.
- Emporia State outshot Lindenwood 17-6 for the match, including an 8-2 edge in shots on goal.
