Women’s Soccer Handed 1-0 Loss at Washburn

MATCH OVERVIEW
The Lindenwood women's soccer team dropped a hard fought contest at Washburn on Sunday afternoon. The Lions were defeated by a final score of 1-0, moving their record to 6-8-2 this season and 3-5-1 from within the MIAA.

After a scoreless first half, the home team netted what would prove to be the game winning score in the 50th minute of the match.

Lindenwood was unable to find an equalizing score over the remaining 40 minutes of play, which ended with Washburn holding its one-goal lead.
