GAME OVERVIEW
The Lindenwood football team (3-5) lost 38-17 to No. 11 Northwest Missouri State on Saturday in St. Charles, Mo.Â
Drew Seers was all over the field as he had 12 tackles with two tackles for loss, and snagged an interception against the Bearcats.

Northwest Missouri jumped on the board first with a 37-yard field goal to take the early lead. The Bearcats added an eight-yard touchdown run to go ahead 10-0 after the first quarter.Â
Nash Sutherlin found the edge and took it down the sideline for a 27-yard touchdown run with 7:08 to go in the first half. The Bearcats took the ensuing kickoff back to the Lindenwood 35 yardline and scored after two minutes to regain a two-score lead. Northwest Missouri got the ball back after a tipped pass was intercepted, and the Bearcats scored in the final minute to take a 24-7 lead at the half.

After the Bearcats opened the third quarter with a touchdown, the Lions battled back as
Barrett Foley knocked in a 26-yard field goal to make it a 31-10 ballgame. The Lions quickly took back possession after Seers intercepted a pass at midfield.Â
Cade Brister scrambled out of the pocket and found
Paul Silvio in the corner of the endzone for a 26-yard touchdown. Lindenwood was down 31-17, but the Bearcats scored the final touchdown of the game with 2:57 to go in the third quarter to defeat the Lions 38-17.
