PLAYOFF PICTURE
The Lions are now 5-10 in MIAA games with three matches to play. Lindenwood is tied for eighth place with Missouri Western, but holds the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Griffons. Washburn (14-1), Nebraska-Kearney (13-2), Central Oklahoma (12-3), Northwest Missouri (12-3) and Central Missouri (10-4) have clinched five of the eight spots in the MIAA Championship.
The Lions' next match is against seventh-place Emporia State (6-8). A three- or four-set win over the Hornets would give Lindenwood the head-to-head tiebreaker. A five-set win would go to point differential to determine tiebreakers.
