GAME OVERVIEW
The Lindenwood women's hockey team (1-6-1, 0-3-1 CHA) lost 2-0 to Robert Morris (4-5-1, 2-1-1 CHA) on Saturday afternoon in Pittsburgh, Pa.
 
Jolene deBruyn made 38 stops for the Lions as she saw 79 total shots, with 40 of them on goal.  The Lions struggled in the faceoff dot and had just one shot on goal in the second period.  Sierra Burt gave Lindenwood its best chance as she made a slick move to get past the defender, but could not get a clean shot off as she was hooked on the play.
 
Lindenwood went on the power play, but could not find a rhythm with an extra attacker.  The Lions went 0-for-3 on the power play, but also held Robert Morris scoreless on four attempts.  Taylor Girard led the squad with eight shots and stepped up to block five shots on the defensive end.  Megan Wagner won a team-high seven faceoffs, while Nicole Guagliardo registered four shots on goal.
