Women's Hockey Scores Twice on Power Play at RIT

GAME OVERVIEW
Hannah Alt and Courtney Ganske each scored power play goals for Lindenwood women's ice hockey in a 3-2 loss to RIT. They mark the sixth and seventh power play goals for the Lions this season. The defeat drops Lindenwood to 3-11-2 this season and 1-6-1 in conference action.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- RIT scored midway through the first, but Hannah Alt equalized with a power play goal at 17:44. Kirsten Martin and Alexandra Larson earned the assists.
- Courtney Ganske scored the Lions' second goal of the day at 10:32 in the second period. Sierra Burt and Cierra Paisley assisted on the goal.
- Sophie Wolf played 58:11 between the pipes for Lindenwood. She recorded 22 saves, her fifth game of 20+ saves this season.
- Martin led the team with four shots in the contest.
- In addition to her assist on the first goal, Larson blocked three shots against RIT.

The Lions will take some time off before their next competition. Lindenwood takes on St. Cloud State in St. Cloud, Minn. on Dec. 29. Puck drop is set for 2 p.m.
