The No. 25 Lindenwood baseball team defeated Northeastern State 3-1 on a late home run on Friday night at the Lou Brock Sports Complex in St. Charles, Mo.

The pitching staff combined for nine innings pitch with 12 strikeouts and just four hits allowed while 
Nate Hillermann earned his third save of the season.  
Drew Quinones drilled a triple into right center to set up a sacrifice fly to tie the game in the bottom of the sixth.  
Neil Fischer blasted a two-run shot over the left field wall in the bottom of the eighth to give Lindenwood the 3-1 lead.
