The No. 16 wrestling will send three wrestlers to the NCAA Division II National Championships in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on March 9-10.

Carlos Jacquez (:51) and No. 5
Hunter Haralson (:53) each pinned their first-round opponents in less than one minute while No. 11
Jake Borgmeyer (1:15) pinned his foe just over the 60-second mark.
Austin Stofer went 2-0 on the day to join the three ranked Lions who finished the first day with an undefeated record.
Danny Swan went 2-1 on the day after losing a tough quarterfinal-match in sudden victory.
Nate Trepanier drew No. 3 James Krischke in the first round and took the loss, but rebounded for back-to-back wins in the consolation bracket.
Jared McKindley lost his first match of the day, but like Trepanier he responded with two wins to stay alive.
Day 2
No. 16 Lindenwood placed fifth at the NCAA Division II Super Regional in St. Cloud, Minn. after posting 72 points. Senior

Nate Trepanier will advance to the 2018 NCAA Division II National Championships after placing fourth or better in their respective weight classes at the Super Regional.

Jake Borgmeyer was the first Lion to punch his ticket to Cedar Rapids, Iowa after defeating No. 2 Logan Hopp in the quarterfinals. Borgmeyer then lost to No. 8 Ethan Mitchell Eull in the championship round by a 3-1 difference via sudden victory.
No. 3
Carlos Jacquez lost his first match of the day, but bounced back to defeat No. 5 Andrew McFall via pinfall at 5:58. Jacques won 7-5 in sudden victory over No. 7 Maleek Williams to place third in the 125-pound bracket.
Nate Trepanier lost to No. 12 Damien Penichet in the consolation finals, but earned fourth place by rule for defeating Joseph Schumacher earlier in the bracket. Trepanier is the only freshman to advance as
Austin Stofer defeated Qiante Wagner in the quarterfinal match, but was forced to wrestle him again in the fourth-place match and lost 7-4.

Hunter Haralson and
Danny Swan each won their final match to advance to the fourth-place match, took fifth place by rule of losing to their opponent earlier in the bracket.
