The Lindenwood women's lacrosse team scored fourteen first-half goals en route to a 17-4 victory at CSU-Pueblo on Sunday evening from Pueblo, Colo. The Lions never trailed in the game, and held the lead for just over the final 52 minutes of play.

Hannah Doughty broke a scoreless tie with an unassisted goal after just 3:11 of action. Following a CSU-Pueblo goal just 42 seconds later to tie the game at 1-1, Lindenwood scored 13 of the next 14 goals, including nine-consecutive goals, to take a commanding 14-2 lead into halftime.
The Lions outscored the ThunderWolves by a 3-2 margin during the second half, to secure their seventh-straight win to open the season.
Rachel Ortell posted her seventh win of the season in goal for Lindenwood, stopping seven of the 11 shots she faced.
Allison Hurley led all scorers with five points on the evening. Hurley netted two goals and dished out three assists. Doughty paced Lindenwood with four goals, while
Cassie Stucklen scored three times to pick up her fourth hat trick of the season.
Sophie Buelow added four points, two goals and two assists, to her team-leading total of 29 for the year.
Carly Fedorowski caused a team-high five turnovers, leading a defensive effort that limited the opponent to under five goals for the fourth time this season. Fedorowski equaled a career-high by securing six draw controls to lead Lindenwood.
Shannon Modl established new career-high marks in draw controls (5) and ground balls (5), while
Alana Jeronimo collected four ground balls.
With the win, Lindenwood improves to 7-0 and 2-0 from within the RMAC. The Lions will return to action tomorrow afternoon in Alamosa, Colo. Lindenwood will face Adams State at 3:00 p.m. MT in the final game of its two-game road trip.
