OVERVIEW
Lindenwood sophomore shortstop
Austine Pauley hit her eighth triple of the season to help Lindenwood sweep Missouri Southern in a doubleheader. Lindenwood won the first game 12-5 and the second game 6-3. With the victories, LWU extends its record to 25-19 overall and 11-11 in MIAA games.

Hanna Porter was 4-7 in the series, including a five RBI performance in game one.

Stormee Galka went 4-9 against Missouri Southern, scoring five runs.
- In the circle, Galka allowed six hits over seven innings, walking two and did not allow an earned run.
- With the wins, Lindenwood moves into a tie for seventh place in the MIAA. The Lions hold the tiebreaker over Pittsburg State, who also is 11-11. Lindenwood also holds tiebreakers over ninth-place Emporia State. The top eight teams qualify for the MIAA Softball Championship.
